Often times we have odds and ends of projects, or very small projects, that are not able to be displayed as formal portfolio pieces or case studies. We are using this space to showcase a few interesting items we’ve designed over the years.
First up is a glass donor recognition monolith installed in the landscape at the Faith and Liberty Discovery Center. Laminated glass was selected for the monolith material to provide visibility to the garden. The wood base matches the benches installed nearby.
The second image is our design for the ASLA Award of Excellence, a very prestigious honor that is awarded to only one person each year. The recipient must have a body of work spanning at least 10 years that represents significant contributions to the field of landscape architecture. The name of the recipient is engraved on the reverse. The logo is broken up and cropped to achieve a larger scale and a dynamic asymmetry.
