Herter Design Group was on site in May to conduct our punch list for Winship Emory Midtown. The new 17-story building houses ORs, inpatient, outpatient, diagnostic imaging, linear accelerators, rehab, wellness, and clinical research. Herter Design Group was tasked with designing a holistic and comprehensive wayfinding sign program for all areas of the building. The program utilizes highly visible and simple perpendicular flag signs as well as large dimensional letters to help patients and staff easily locate the correct room from afar. Our team was also responsible for the design of exterior signage, parking garage wayfinding, ADA, and clinical/regulatory signs.
